Little known fact about the King Family: Before settling in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1971, Marty and Julie King raised the elder King kids in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to a predilection for horse racing, mint julips, and big hats, Julie brought another piece of Kentucky with her to her new home - the Kentucky Pecan Pie. This is an adaptation of the classic pecan pie that you would find throughout the South, with the addition of chocolate chunks and just a hint of bourbon!
