We do like our cornbread at Shubie’s! It’s great on its own or as a side with a good chili con carne on game day. One time, Andrew served up big slice just smothered in chicken mole, and the clouds parted and the angels sang and the lions lay down with the lambs and it was just a really neat scene. It’s at its best fresh out the oven with a smear of honey butter. We like ours sweet and spicy, so we mix in a nice helping of candied jalapeños and cheddar cheese.
